Biography
Dr. Jennifer Ahlquist began teaching in 91³Ô¹Ï×ÄÐÈ˵ijԹÏÍø's McAuley School of Nursing in 2021. She began her nursing career in Chicago in 2007 and has 10 years of advanced practice nursing experience in both internal medicine and college health settings. She holds dual certifications as an Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner. Before coming to 91³Ô¹Ï×ÄÐÈ˵ijԹÏÍø, she precepted several 91³Ô¹Ï×ÄÐÈ˵ijԹÏÍø from McAuley's FNP program and was so impressed she knew she wanted to be a part of 91³Ô¹Ï×ÄÐÈ˵ijԹÏÍø. In her free time, Dr. Ahlquist enjoys spending time outdoors and playing with her young children.

Research Interests
Mindfulness and self-compassion interventions to promote wellbeing. Populations of focus have included LGBTQIA+ emerging adults and nursing 91³Ô¹Ï×ÄÐÈ˵ijԹÏÍø.
