Students who participate in this program are able to stand out in the marketplace through their commitment to a rigorous course of study that provides them with an understanding of two different legal systems. The program permits 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 to focus on important areas of law, including Immigration Law, Corporate/Commercial Law, and intellectual property.

  • Admission Requirements

    91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Law welcomes applications from new 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 to both our  and . 

    Entering first-year 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 are admitted only once each year in August. 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Law accepts  for the fall and spring terms and for all terms.

    To be considered for first-time admission to either program, an applicant must have or expect to receive a bachelor's degree by the summer preceding admission and must have taken the  within the past five years.

    Candidates may apply to one or both programs. Candidates for the American JD Program, must apply through the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC). Candidates for the Canadian & American Dual JD Program may apply either through the Ontario Law School Application Service (OLSAS) or LSAC. Applications to both programs will be considered by their respective admissions committees and candidates will receive two separate decisions. 

    We encourage candidates to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and to perform at the 50th percentile or better on the LSAT for admission to either program. However, we consider a range of applicants based on all aspects of the application including, but not limited to the following:

    • Letters of recommendation
    • Employment, private and public service, or both
    • The personal statement
    • Resume
    • Undergraduate performance
    • English proficiency

    The Dual JD Program Admissions Committee also uses the following criteria to assess applicants:

    • Grade Point Average (GPA) and University Program
    • Work experience
    • Community involvement
    • Personal accomplishments
    • Career objectives
    • Personal considerations
    • Law School Admissions Test Score (LSAT)
  • Degree Requirements

    Students are able to complete this program in three years, saving significant time and money. Because 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Law and the University of Windsor are only 10 minutes apart, 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 can study at the two schools. Not only do 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 in the program have a rich curriculum, they are able to participate in the 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 activities and programs offered by both schools. Students will complete a total of 104 credits, 44 at the University of Windsor and 60 at the University of 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网.

    Students are required to pass all of their courses with a minimum grade of 1.5, and must have a minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 2.2 to graduate from the program.

    At 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网, all dual JD 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 must also complete a clinic, an upper-level writing course, and a law firm program course.  Additionally, dual JD 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 must also complete 6 credits of coursework at 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Law that satisfy the transnational law requirement.
