Geist, James R.
James R. Geist
Professor, Division of Integrated Biomedical Sciences, Director of Oral Maxillofacial Imaging Center, teaches courses in radiology, oral pathology, and general pathology to 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 in the Dental, Dental Hygiene, and post-doctoral programs. He also serves as director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging Center at the University. Dr. Geist has published over 40 peer-reviewed research articles on topics including the diagnostic efficacy of various imaging systems and educational methodology in radiology and pathology. He has presented his research findings at professional meetings in North America, Europe, and Asia. He is a past president of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Dr. Geist has received the award for outstanding didactic or clinical faculty member 19 times. He holds a B.A. degree from Northwestern University, a D.D.S. degree from the University of Illinois, and an M.S. degree in Oral Pathology from Indiana University. He joined the University in 1986.

Shin-Mey Rose Geist
Associate Professor, teaches courses in Radiology, Oral Pathology, and General Pathology to 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 in the dental, dental hygiene, and post-doctoral programs. He also serves as director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Imaging Center. Dr. Geist is a past president of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology and the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. He currently serves as editor of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology section of the journal Oral Surgery Oral Medicine Oral Pathology Oral Radiology. Prof. Geist has received the award for outstanding didactic or clinical faculty member 19 times. He joined the university in 1986.

Gibes, Pamela V.
Pamela Voletti Gibes
Clinical Associate Professor, Division of Dental Hygiene, Co-Director of Dental Hygiene Admissions, Dental Hygiene Degree Completion Program Coordinator and Community Health Care Coordinator, teaches clinical dental hygiene and community health to Dental Hygiene 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. Gibes coordinates student community-based service-learning experiences. She works extensively with 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网’s Institute for Leadership and Service to promote interdisciplinary community-based collaborations. As degree completion coordinator, Gibes works with practicing dental hygienists who are completing their baccalaureate degree. Additional responsibilities include recruiting for the Dental Hygiene program and representing the dental hygiene division on the Quality Improvement Committee. She has received teaching awards and is interested in educational research. Gibes received her Certificate in Dental Hygiene from University of Detroit, a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene and a M.A. in Curriculum & Instruction from University of 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. She joined the University in 1999.

Cindy A. Gillham
Associate Librarian, Public Services, McNichols Campus Library, is responsible for delivery of reference services and teaching research skill classes. Her assigned collection development fields include biology/clinical science, chemistry and biochemistry, physics, philosophy, language & culture, philosophy and history, as well as the provision of reference services and research skills instruction. She holds a B.A. degree from Oakland University, and a M.I.L.S. from the University of Michigan. She joined the University in 1988.

Clinical Associate Professor, Coordinator Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, McAuley School of Nursing, is a certified nurse midwife and earned her DNP from University of 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. She joined the College of Health Professions/McAuley School of Nursing in 2007.

Grabowski, Gregory
Gregory M. Grabowski
Professor of Biology, teaches physiology, pathophysiology and human anatomy. Grabowski came to the University after completion of his post-doctoral training at Harvard’s School of Public Health, where he began his research on pulmonary inflammation induced by metal containing particles in industrial settings. He was awarded National Institute of Health and Center for Indoor Air fellowships to fund his postdoctoral training, as well as Slocum-Lunz fellowships to fund his graduate studies. Grabowski holds a B.A. from Canisius College, M.S. from the University of Charleston, and Ph.D. from the Medical University of South Carolina. He joined the University in 1996.

Graves, James F.
James F. Graves
Associate Professor of Biology, teaches general microbiology, immunology and pathogenic microbiology. Graves’ publications and presentations have dealt with microbiology, public health, and the environment. His laboratory work focuses on bioremediation and degradation research, which has been supported by grants from the Federal Government and private industry. He is an elected member of the American Society for Microbiology. He was a research scientist at Indiana University, research associate at the University of Virginia, and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina. Graves holds B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Missouri. He joined the University in 1987.

Greene, Harold H.
Harold H. Greene
Professor of Psychology, teaches perception/cognitive psychology, experimental psychology and learning and memory. His research interests are aimed at determining functional organizations in the human visual system. One concern is the visual system’s representation of contours. Another is the representation of mechanisms involved in the search for a target object among irrelevant clutter. Research of this sort constrains theories of vision and have real-life implications. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Queen’s University, Canada, and a Master of Science and a doctorate in Cognitive/ Experimental Psychology from the University of Georgia. Before coming to 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网, Greene held research fellowships at the Center of Excellence for Research on Training (CERT) in Atlanta and at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Greene joined the University in 1999.

Grigg, Alan E.
Alan E. Grigg
Associate Professor of Education, Director of the Special Education Program and Chair of the Department of Education. Alan Grigg, Ed.D., teaches general education and special education curriculum and method courses and supervises research and field experience. He has extensive experience in teaching special education 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 for more than 32 years in public education. He has been with the University since 2004, first as an adjunct, then an instructor. He received a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Special Education from Eastern Michigan University and earned a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology with licensure in 2005 from Capella University. He earned an Ed.D. in 2016 in Higher Education Leadership from Walden University. During the summer of 2016 he participated in a Fulbright-Hays Group Projects Abroad Program as the curriculum coordinator studying the African Contributions and Contemporary Issues in Northeast Brazil: A Curriculum Development Project Integrating Social Sciences and the Arts. His research interests include teacher education, international education and experience and culturally responsive pedagogy.

Grobis, Greg
Greg Grobis
Associate Professor of Performing Arts, Director of Marketing and Management for the 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Theatre Company and Department Chair. Grobis teaches Introduction to Theatre, Fundamentals of Acting, Acting 2, Music of Theatre, Principles of Arts Management, Performing Arts in New York City and other courses. In addition to teaching, Grobis directs and acts inside of the 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 Theatre Company while working and mentoring 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 majoring in theatre at 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. Since graduate school, he has managed more than 110 theatre productions at 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 and other professional theatres throughout the United States. As an actor, he continues to work locally in voiceovers and in the film industry. As a musician, he works at the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, Michigan, performing weekly with the Sunday 9 a.m. folk band and is the tenor section leader for their parish choir. He joined 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 in 2008.

Groh, Carla J.
Carla J. Groh
Professor, McAuley School of Nursing, has taught courses in research and the politics of health care and teaches within all the programs in the College of Health Professions. Groh’s clinical interest is in the area of geripsychiatry and women’s health. Prior to coming to 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网, she was the director of psychiatric services for a community hospital in Detroit. Groh has been involved in multiple research studies and has several publications. She earned her B.S.N. and M.S.N. from Wayne State University in Adult Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nursing and a Ph.D. in Nursing from the University of Michigan and is a fellow in the American Academy of Nursing. She joined the University in 1996.

Gupta, Aman
Aman Gupta
Assistant Professor, teaches Pharmacology and Oharmaco-therapeutics to dental, dental hygiene and physician assistant 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. She also guides dental 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 in their patient medication history reviews. Her interests are keeping 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网 informed of current and new drug information and facilitating interdisciplinary communication. Prof. Gupta holds an M.D. with a specialty in pharmacology and has done additional training on rehabilitation and management of musculoskeletal disorders. She joined the university in 2017.

Gurun, Dincer
Dincer Gurun
Clinical Associate Professor and Clinic Director, currently serves as director of the Division of Clinical dentistry, overseeing the Group Practice Model for dental and dental hygiene 91吃瓜最懂男人的吃瓜网. He earned a Doctor of Dental Medicine and prosthodontic training at the University of Istanbul, Turkey. He completed a fellowship program in Prosthodontics and earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Florida. He joined the university in 2001.
